About

The instrument license is one of the most important ratings achieved throughout a pilot's training. The instrument rating allows you the ability to fly in clouds, or in weather that would otherwise leave a non-instrument rated pilot waiting on the ground until the skies clear. As an airline pilot, nearly 100% of flight time will be conducted under instrument flight rules. Good instrument skills are what airlines look for in simulator evaluations.
